• On July 1, 2021, Prof. Dr. Anett Mehler-Bicher from the University of Applied Sciences Mainz gave opportunity to experience virtual reality. Together, participants explored a Mozilla Hub VR room.
• On May 20, 2021, Dr. Axel Oberschelp of the German Center for Research on Higher Education and Science presented the first results of his study on the support of barrier-free online teaching at at US universities with a view to the German higher education area. The study was commissioned by the HFD.
• On April 20, 2021, Dr. Klaus Wannemacher and Laura Bodmann from the HIS Institute for Higher Education Development presented their study, conducted on behalf of the HFD-AG “AI, Big Data and Algorithms”.
